Why This Event Mattered

Loyola Marymount University’s School of Film and Television hosted the Kpop Demon Hunters Q+A as a high-visibility campus event spotlighting creative leadership and industry storytelling. The event needed to serve multiple audiences at once: students, faculty, university leadership, and external viewers across digital platforms.

Success meant more than documentation. The content needed to feel cinematic and energized while remaining fully aligned with LMU’s institutional brand standards and internal expectations.

Client Context

LMU operates in a high-trust, reputation-sensitive environment where public-facing content reflects not only creative ambition, but institutional credibility. This project involved coordination across marketing, academic leadership, and communications teams, with expectations for polish, clarity, and long-term content value.

The Challenge

  • Capturing a live, unscripted event with clarity and visual consistency

  • Balancing creative energy with institutional brand rigor

  • Producing assets that work across longform viewing and social platforms

  • Supporting multiple internal stakeholders with different priorities

RADAR’s Role

RADAR Creative served as a full production and editorial partner, not just a vendor. From on-site filming through final post-production, we acted as an extension of LMU’s marketing and communications team.

Our role was to translate the energy of the live event into durable, on-brand video assets that leadership could confidently share, archive, and reuse.

This included:

  • On-site event production and filming

  • Multi-camera coverage optimized for both longform and shortform use

  • Editorial structuring that respected institutional tone while keeping momentum

  • Brand-aligned finishing consistent with LMU’s visual standards

What We Delivered

  • Raw camera files from live event production

  • Final edited longform Q+A video

  • Four social-ready short-form cutdowns

All assets were prepared for internal use and external distribution, providing LMU with evergreen institutional video content.

The Outcome

LMU received a complete, end-to-end video solution that supported leadership confidence, internal alignment, and public-facing storytelling. The final assets extended the life of the event well beyond the room, creating reusable content that reflects both the creative spirit of the School of Film and Television and the professionalism of the university.

What This Demonstrates

  • Comfort operating inside established university brand systems

  • Experience with live event filming and unscripted content

  • Editorial restraint paired with cinematic polish

  • Reliable workflows for higher education video production

Looking Ahead

If your institution is producing high-stakes campus events and needs a production partner who understands approvals, brand stewardship, and long-term content value, RADAR Creative brings calm, clarity, and cinematic execution to every stage.
