fsi update

FSI picked up 5 more awards from the Aurora Awards yesterday. FSI won in the categories of Issue Awareness, Writing, Directing, Cinematography and Editing. FSI has won a total of 12 awards and was an official selection for the World of Comedy Film Festival in Toronto this year. Plans are underway to send the film to all financial legislative committees nationwide.

Many of you have seen the recent headlines about the subprime mortgage market and foreclosures that could easily affect the entire housing market, which makes up 16% of the Gross Domestic Product. Fraud has been the under-reported story in these headlines, and we’ll all start hearing more and more about how the consequences of greed and criminal activity in terms of “little ol’ mortgage fraud” will affect us all.

Hopefully this film will continue to educate law makers, law enforcers and industry professionals for years to come – or until we focus on the next film.
