“stop & think” viewed in space
The below email was sent to “Stop & Think” producer Johnny Karls from space! Jeff Williams (pictured below), one of the two astronauts currently on the International Space Station (the Station circles the planet approximately 16 times per day, traveling at 17,500 mph in an orbit varying 208 to 285 miles from Earth) watched “Stop and Think” from space Saturday morning. Here’s what he had to say about it:
The video was uplinked to me last night and I watched it this morning (Saturday). Great message! I can echo the proclamation of the glory of Christ in the creation and in His word (Col 1:15-17). I’m going to forward it to my church staff. Thank you for your prayers.
In Christ,
Jeff
2 Cor 5:21

csa event
RADAR helped out with the annual CSA Event held at the Moorpark Country Club April 23rd. The CSA (Conejo Simi Aquatics) is dedicated to be a premier aquatics program that fosters high individual and team achievement through excellent coaching and parental support. The awards banquet featured several highlights from the past year as well as guest speakers, Olympians Lindsay Benko and Mike Mintenko, from the US and Canadian swim teams respectively. RADAR produced an on-site highlight montage featuring images from the event that had been taken only seconds before they appeared on the screens. Pictures from the event can be viewed by clicking here.

radar turns two
RADAR turned 2 on April 16th. It was two years ago that partners Corey Yaktus and Matthew Warren started RADAR with a vision of providing its clients with interactive experiences using storytelling techniques familiar to the motion picture & television industries — two years later, RADAR’s commitment to client retention and its focus on quality products & services and tangible results has paid off. The company has experienced tremendous growth in its sophomore year and is expected to double in size by the end of 2007. RADAR started with five clients and now has 37 and there’s no end in sight: RADAR is opening a seasonal New York office this Fall and has plans to run a pilot program in Denver next year. Earnings are up considerably for the fourth straight quarter and RADAR is slowly building its street cred as a reputable content provider — something they’ve been wanting to do since April 2004. Since RADAR’s launch, the company has produced more than 70 videos, 30 DVD packages, 12 websites, 6 national events, 17 webisodes, 7 shorts and has won more than 15 national awards.
